ABSTRACT
Abstract: In a dyeing process, dye is attached with fibre by some sort of forces, may be physical or chemical in nature. It is essential to keep in view the desired fastness of dyeings during domestic use. Various dyeings show wash, light, sublimation and rubbing fastness to varying extents, based on dye-fibre system. This chapter discloses the mode of dye-fibre attachment in order to forecast these fastness criteria.
