ABSTRACT
The responsible and ethical use of laboratory animals is unique to each nation’s regulatory matrix and complements its individual, yet complex, national/regional culture, religion, ethics, customs, economic status, politics, and values toward animals and, specifically, laboratory animals used in research, teaching, and testing.
