ABSTRACT
Your mystery plasmid may be resistant to either of two antibiotics: kanamycin (KanR) or ampicillin (ampR). You will prepare selective plates with both types of antibiotics and use this property as the first screening test in determining which of the mystery plasmids you have. See Figures 1.1 and 1.2 for the vector maps of the possible mystery plasmids.
