ABSTRACT
Information is one of the major products of drilling, and sometimes it is the only product of value. In addition, every drilling operation requires information for satisfactory control.
This chapter deals with the recording and organisation of such information, as it is the driller who usually provides most of this information in the form of samples, observations, records, and reports.
