ABSTRACT
Nowadays, the generation of industrial wastes containing high concentrations of organic and inorganic pollutants is a worldwide concern due to the usual high impact of these compounds on the environment. On the other hand, the recovery of the valuable compounds for selling or reusing either in the same or in a different industrial application is an interesting alternative to compensate the costs associated to the treatment stages, which fulll with the principles of zerodischarge closed cycling wastewater treatment.1
