ABSTRACT
Isaac Newton (Figure 1.1) revolutionized science when he introduced the world to his equation
=F ma and the “universal law of gravity.”
These two concepts explain why all objects fall at the same rate. They describe planetary orbits, the motion of our moon, and much more. Newton gave physics a revolutionary theory that was capable of both explaining and predicting phenomena on Earth and in the sky.
