ABSTRACT
After the term “superfluid liquid” was introduced in 1938 (covered in detail in Chapter 14), it remained synonymous, at least in the experimental sense, with helium. And before the discovery of superfluidity in the fermionic isotope 3He, the words “superfluid helium” referred to the bosonic isotope 4He.
