ABSTRACT
In previous chapters, we often assumed that a system under consideration is linear. However, practically speaking, there are many nonlinear systems that are subjected to random and time-varying loads and deformations. In such a situation, it can be difficult to treat the response of a nonlinear system as a stationary process. In fact, analyzing such a random nonlinear system can be rather complex.
