ABSTRACT

Human factors and safety are important in the design of robotic workplaces, as they are intimately related. More clearly, many safety problems have solutions in human factors.

Generally, in regard to robotics, human factors are basically concerned with the way robotic equipment interface systems and the environment should be designed so that they are effectively compatible with the humans who use it. In industrial robotics, in addition to ambient conditions, basic concern is associated with the design of items such as controller panels, teach pendants, and computer terminals [1].
