ABSTRACT

Mathematical modeling is a commonly used approach to conduct various types of analysis in the area of engineering. In this case, the components of a system are represented by idealized elements assumed to have all the representative characteristics of real-life components, whose behavior is possible to be described by equations. However, it is to be noted that the degree of realism of a mathematical model depends on the type of assumptions imposed upon it.
