ABSTRACT
Looking back into the topics discussed in this book, we realize now that our understanding of the motor proteins and molecular motors is more complete. This was accomplished mainly through huge progress in experimental and theoretical methods of investigation. But equally importantly, we found appropriate approaches for analyzing complex phenomena associated with motor proteins and molecular motors. The application of fundamental principles of physics and chemistry is the key to this success, and it allowed us to uncover many important features of these systems.
