ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT In this chapter, emulsification in pumps, stirred vessels, colloid mills, toothed-rim dispersers, double rotor dispersers, and extruders are described. The unifying parameter of energy density is described, and the positive consequences of batch processing, particularly for emulsions, where the droplets slowly stabilize, are highlighted.
