ABSTRACT
In this part of the book, 16 countries are arranged alphabetically, and each country is presented as far as possible in a similar format, under ve main headings – Key data, The construction industry, Construction cost data, Exchange rates and ination and Useful addresses. These notes introduce the ve main sets of information presented on the individual countries and provide, in one place, general notes, denitions and explanations, in order to keep the individual country sections as succinct as possible. A nal heading, Statistical notes, discusses and explains the statistical denitions and concepts adopted in the book.
