ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we will introduce two commonly used approaches for oncology
dose-escalation trials: (1) the algorithm-based escalation rules, and (2) model-
based approaches. The second approach can be a frequentist or Bayesian-
based response-adaptive method and can be used in any dose-response trials.
