ABSTRACT
Dr. Craig Grimes: Frazzled, Overwhelmed, Skeptical Dr. Craig Grimes was fed up. He had realized his dream of becoming a medical doctor, and now, after a dozen years of practice, he was frazzled, overwhelmed, on the verge of burnout-and just 41 years old. “I was at a stage of my career where I was completely overwhelmed,” he recalls. “I had a very fast growing, busy practice and had just come off a time when I had been overwhelmed by hospital work when we were still doing hospital work. Every night I was bringing hours of work home. I’d work all day, get home and have dinner, put the kids to bed, and work until I went to bed.”
