ABSTRACT
The ponderomotive mechanism of electromagnetic excitation of elastic oscillations in the magnetic fluid was initially seem to be the only possible mechanism. Formally, this conclusion was made on the basis of the main equation of the quasi-equilibrium hydrodynamics of magnetic fluids in which the irreversible magnetisation processes can be ignored and ↑↑M H [58]:
