ABSTRACT
Critical thinking is important because it enables one to think about a problem more completely and to consider many factors that may not be intuitively apparent. It also helps to
assure that the results of thinking about the problem are intellectually honest and objective in nature. Furthermore, the conclusion reaching process is more likely to involve the consideration of factors that would likely be missed otherwise, thus helping to assure that the conclusions reached are thoroughly considered.
