ABSTRACT

Previously, we described the adversarial risk analysis (ARA) approach to simultaneous games and sequential games. We now show how ARA applies when there are complicating factors, such as multiple defenders, multiple attackers, and multiple targets to protect. We also treat situations in which there are varying degrees of cooperation among attackers or among defenders, focusing on the sequential DefendAttack game, although the ideas apply to many other models presented in this book. These games were introduced in Chapter 4, and have been studied from a classical game-theoretic perspective by Bier and Azaiez (2009) and Brown et al. (2006).
