ABSTRACT
Patient and family engagement is an important strategy for building organizations that deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. This chapter provides an overview of the range of activities, policies, and strategies that constitute PFE, strategies for success, case studies, and action steps to create more patient-and family-centered organizations.
