ABSTRACT
This chapter is devoted to the study of a remarkable binary operation on the set of bivariate copulasC2, usually called ∗-product, which was introduced by Darsow et al. [1992]. We shall also refer to this operation as the Markov product for 2-copulas, since it exhibits interesting connexions with Markov operators and processes.
