ABSTRACT
On a finite set, there can only be a finite number of distinct binary operations. (If the set S has
|S| = n, there are only nn2 binary operations.) Imposing the three axioms for a group restricts the possibilities considerably, especially when we consider two groups as the same if there exists an isomorphism between them.
