ABSTRACT
One of the most fascinating aspects of group theory is how much internal structure follows by virtue of the three group axioms. Groups possess much more internal structure than we have yet seen in Chapter 3. The internal properties will often permit us to create a “quotient group,” which is a smaller group that retains some of the group information and conflates other information.
