ABSTRACT

In the last chapter, I discussed some of the key aspects of the passive candidate selection process, and I made some suggestions for improving the early stages of that system. In this section, I will continue that conversation; however, I will-for the most part-focus on more abstract, generalizable topics. Readers can utilize some of the ideas in this section not only to help them in fixing specific issues with their hiring schemas but also to aid them in making systemic improvements to their hiring and promotion methodologies.
