ABSTRACT
The dominant facilitating instruments in the IB environment are the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade and other WTO instruments. The dominant facilitating mechanism is the WTO.
This is due to several factors. First, the geographical scope of the GATT, other WTO instruments, and the WTO-and their geographical areas of interest, application, and influence-are global.1
