ABSTRACT
After spending somuch time talking about goodways to do things,I thought it tting to write a chapter on what not to do. There are certain issues that seem to pop up and rear their ugly heads on a fairly common basis so it seems tting to address them now-before your milestone is due.
10.1 BANDING AND “SUPER PIXELS” Banding is a commonmistake among novice Pixel Artists-even folks with some great art talent. The good news is that once you understand what to look for, it is oen fairly easy to avoid (or at least substantially mitigate). I say mitigate rather than eliminate because there may be instances where it cannot be entirely abolished. As you work in smaller resolutions it becomes more and more dicult to completely avoid the banding eect.
