Nanoscience is the science, which study fundamental interactions between atoms and molecules. Modern properties in various systems can be atmostly obtained at dimensions between 1 nm to 100 nm. Nanoelement categories consist of atom clusters/assemblies or structures possessing at least one dimension between 1 and 100 nm. Quantum physics gives a completely different version of the world on the nanometric scale than that given by traditional physics. The most typical way of classifying nanomaterials is to identify them according to their dimensions. There are two approaches for synthesis of nanomaterials and the fabrication of nanostructures, Top down and Bottom up approaches. Combined top-down and bottom-up nanomanufacturing is also used for producing nanoelements such as various methods of self-assembly. In this chapter, the concepts of nanoscience and nanotechnology are reviewed in different views.
