ABSTRACT
In the first section we reference topics covering labeling and activism, in the second section we examine food waste, and in the third section we discuss water. Food waste and water each deserve their own chapter and more attention and detail than we can provide here. Our research was limited, but in neither case of food waste or water did we locate an overarching federal policy. The federal government does seem to present more consumer facing material, information, and programs about food waste than about water.
