ABSTRACT

As usual, Connor arrived at the hospital early to begin preparing for the improvement team’s new focus: wait times. Connor knew that the solution he had in mind for the hospital would also be a possible solution for unscheduled maintenance at Aviation Dynamics. When Connor entered the conference room, he immediately walked over to the performance metrics board and noticed two more data points had been added to the Door to Balloon Time run chart. e two new data points were in the same population as the most recent entries, which meant that, so far, the improvements were being sustained. Connor smiled.
