ABSTRACT
M ajor considerations for the practical execution of an AUC experiment are discussed. Avoiding convection will be the one overriding principle, dictating
the choice of centerpieces, their alignment, and requirements for strict temperature control. To avoid common pitfalls, the proper execution of a well-defined sedimentation experiment is considered in detail.
