ABSTRACT

The simulation of transport processes in porous materials-in particular, in through-thickness direction of textile macrostructures-is a subject of research studies in recent decades, but it is particularly developed with the progress of the computer resources and rapid development of CFD (computational fluid dynamics). However, the experimental assessment of air permeability and heat transfer continues to be the most reliable and applied way for evaluation of the heat and mass transfer processes through textile macrostructures.
