ABSTRACT

In Chapter 3 we dealt with spin relaxation processes, which

are a result of quantum-mechanical features of spin systems

combined with molecular dynamics. Spin relaxation phenomena

are a rich source of information on spin interactions and motional

mechanisms, provided appropriate theoretical models are available.

A complementary way of inquiring into the interplay between

quantum-mechanical and dynamical properties of molecular (spin)

systems is spin resonance spectroscopy. In this chapter principles of

spin resonance lineshape analysis are described.
