ABSTRACT
Due to high strength-to-weight ratios, glass fiber-and carbon fiber-reinforced composite structures offer great potential for lightweight construction in a wide variety of industrial applications. As such, reinforced composites based on fiber fabrics and noncrimp fabrics are established these days as important construction materials in many industrial fields.
