ABSTRACT

You have an appointment tomorrow with a very important client at two in the afternoon at an address in a part of town you are unfamiliar with. You are not exactly sure of the directions, where you will leave your car, or how to find the exact office. You can wait until the next day, guessing how much time it will take to drive there, to find a parking place, and to wander around in the building until you find the office, probably stressing the whole time. It is much better to know exactly how much time is needed to drive to the appointment, what routes you will take, where to park the car, and the exact location of the office and who will meet you there. With those concerns resolved, the stress level is greatly reduced and the focus can be on the business at hand. That is the same situation an executive, VIP, celebrity, or tourist often finds himself in as he travels. A highly placed business executive, a notable politician, a celebrity, even an out-of-town tourist all have one thing in common-an increased vulnerability to harmful activity from stalkers, disgruntled workers, criminals, even well-meaning but overly enthusiastic fans.
