ABSTRACT

The conventional wisdom is that demons and gremlins exist only in fantasy, but to anxiety-driven protectors, they are real. To understand that the best planning and arrangements can, and probably will, go wrong is to know that demons or gremlins do haunt us. Realizing that concept, a protective agent must always be wary of those nettling things that could (would) go wrong and plan accordingly with alternate and contingency plans. No plan is safe until the assignment has been completed. A gremlin can spring from anywhere at any time and ruin even a well-oiled machine such as a perfectly planned and coordinated advance and protectee assignment. A computer may become affected by a virus, a GPS may malfunction, an unscheduled train may cross an intersection, blocking a motorcade, a cell phone may have no service or experience a dead battery at the wrong time. A thousand and one things can and most probably will go wrong, thanks to those evil gremlins. Yes, they do exist in the real world of the protector. Be aware of them, for they can morph into dragons.
