ABSTRACT
Many different thermoplastic polymer foam processing technologies exist, and these can be grouped into two large classes: continuous and discontinuous. Continuous techniques produce foamed products or semifinished products using a time-continuous process, while discontinuous techniques are characterized by time-recurring operations.
