ABSTRACT
The deposition methods of nano-or submicron-thick films are
roughly classified into two types, gas-phase processing and liquid-
phase processing. Each encompasses several techniques, as shown
in Fig. 3.1. Several important ones are briefly explained later. For
more details, see Freund and Suresh (2003) and Eckertova (1986).
