Other Applications

Missing data framework and, especially, the multiple imputation method can

be applied to other situations. This chapter discusses five applications: mea-

surement error, combining information from multiple data sources, Bayesian

inference for finite population, causal inference and statistical disclosure con-

trol. Each situation can be handled using standard multiple imputation soft-

ware. The same combining rules described so far can be applied in some

applications but for others, new combining rules have to be used.
