ABSTRACT

This chapter demonstrates new routes and extends the range of future applications for few-layer graphene (FLG). Few examples of utilization of the FLG for the creation of new advanced materials and graphene-based structures are presented. There are several distinctive properties that make the FLG eligible for such applications. Among them are (1) the high sensitivity of FLG for sensor application, (2) hybrid substrates provided the high carrier mobility in graphene, (3) superlattice hydrogenated graphene/NMP monolayer with high carrier mobility, (4) uorination of graphene or FLG by chemical functionalization, (5) advantages of FLG for ash memory effects, and so on.
