ABSTRACT

The five tables that follow are meant as memory joggers. They are not a substitute for the study of the individual methods described in this book, but once the methods have become familiar, preferably via practical hands-on testing of most of them, the tables can be used to check whether there might be a better way to attack a given problem. Most of us tend to give preference to a few trusted favorite tests, and perhaps we bend the test objective a bit to allow their use-a dangerous habit.
