ABSTRACT
Machine operators are the first line of defense and have firsthand knowledge of the equipment. Assigning them simple-to-moderate tasks in the total productive maintenance (TPM) journey is important. They can detect early signs of problems and perform simple work to ensure the machines they work on every day are working properly.
