ABSTRACT
Discussions in this book through Chapter 7 have mainly been confined to the manufacturing procedures of cables. In the course of such discussions, necessary references on electrical parameters were introduced to let one understand the basic factors related to the production system. The main focus of this chapter is on mechanical and chemical activities which are essential. However, the ultimate aim of a cable is to transmit electrical power for a regular day-to-day living.
