ABSTRACT

The purpose of this book is to provide a comprehensive overview of all the technical aspects in acoustical sensing and imaging. The coverage includes system modeling, resolution analysis, signal processing, error reduction, resolution enhancement, and motion estimation, with results from full-scale field experiments and applications. This book can be used by engineers for a concise review of the technical elements of this field. It can also serve as the textbook for a senior-elective or a first-year graduate course in electrical engineering.
