ABSTRACT
In order to be able to recognize these causes, though, we practiced by looking at incidents and injuries that had already happened in order to see what we missed that led to the unfortunate incident. But this was only a skills-building exercise. The correct usage of the method is for prevention and not for mere accident analysis. In this chapter, then, we create an exercise that simulates the correct and true use of the method. We also give suggestions for a workplace inspection exercise to get you started on using the JS method regularly and effectively.
