ABSTRACT

This chapter provides an overview to the software specifically projected for including all global ranking procedures. An important feature of the software is the possibility to be customized according to specific requests of the user. Since Web applications have become more and more popular among an increasing number of users, one can predictably expect many more services to become accessible via own browser. This trend is largely proved by the substantial migration from desktop applications to Web inside-my-browser applications, and pushed even more forward by the adoption of ‘smart’ mobile devices. All the Nonparametric Combination Web applications need to register and hence acquire an individual username and password. This is necessary to control the use of the applications and to be able to manage the server’s workload because every computation is potentially heavy enough to contribute to a general slowdown of the server resources.
