ABSTRACT
One of our primary goals in writing this book is to develop in the reader a systems perspective toward HPM. This chapter describes that perspective for electron beam-driven sources, and its application to the design and construction of HPM systems. To illustrate some of the points in this chapter, we draw upon our experience in assembling systems for various applications.
