ABSTRACT

Amazing advances have been made in science to improve medical care in the twenty-rst century with the development of genomics and genetic screening, the realization of the importance of environmental factors for gene expression and inheritance through epigenetics, and the myriad new tests and pharmaceuticals that have been developed from proteomics and botanical products. On the other hand, it is premature to say that our medical system or medical institutions can deliver personalized medicine to most patients at this point in time. How can we advance personalized medicine in the future?
