ABSTRACT
Any PKI participant including managers, administrators, auditors, security professionals, subscribers, and even relying parties benets from a better understanding of PKI technology and cryptography. Technology is usually based on industry standards or specications and implemented by product manufactures and service providers. Cryptography is based on mathematical research leading to standards and implemented in crypto hardware, rmware, or software products typically embedded in the same technology products and services.
