ABSTRACT
A plant-watering system may be useful when water scarcity exists. It is highly useful in rural areas in the desert or in regions where there is less rainfall. It is an automated sensor-based system that measures soil moisture to calculate the volume of water to be taken for watering using a portable pumping unit. For cultivation to be successful, several parameters that affect the composition of the soil are to be considered.
