ABSTRACT

The quadcopter is the most popular vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) multicopter structure in the world. The word quad species that this structure has four arms, with each arm connected to a single motor. One specic advantage of such a system is its aerial stability. It offers more stability compared to a normal heli structure. In a helicopter system, the direction and orientation are controlled by adjusting the pitch of the spinning rotor. The tail rotor of the helicopter provides stability against the yaw effect created by its spinning rotor. As discussed previously, the multirotor aircraft never uses pitch changing of the rotor at the time of spinning. As it completely depends upon the speed of a different rotor, its design complexity has been reduced.
