ABSTRACT
Taking the medical history of the infertile couple in a personal interview
should be the first step of every interaction between affected individuals and
their treating physician. Besides building a personal relationship and estab-
lishing mutual trust and respect, the medical history is necessary to obtain
critical information for planning the most relevant, useful, and cost-efficient
diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
